### Rewards <a href="#rewards" id="rewards"></a>

Stakers deposit v2 LP tokens paired with **WBERA** into the Genius Protocol. In return, you earn rewards in the form of **$GEN** emissions. Being a genius pays off!

**Claim Fee (Important!)**

The **15% claim fee is NOT subtracted from your staked LP.** Your LP remains untouched.

Instead, when claiming rewards, you must pay **15% of the reward’s USD value** in **BERA**.

**Example:**\
You have **$100 USD worth** of pending $GEN rewards.\
To claim, you must pay **$15 USD worth of BERA**.\
If BERA is trading at $2, you pay **7.5 BERA** with the claim transaction.

This ensures rewards aren’t diluted for other stakers while keeping the protocol sustainable.

With our rewards system, stakers of Genius Coin enjoy regular dividends and bonuses via our **APR/TVL doubling mechanic**.

**Emissions Breakdown**

The Genius protocol mints **100% of the base emissions** for stakers.

On top of this, additional rewards are minted:

* **+5%** to **Treasury**
* **+5%** to **Level 1 referrer** (if exists)
* **+3%** to **Level 2 referrer** (if exists)
* **+1%** to **Level 3 referrer** (if exists)

> ⚠️ If no referrer exists at a certain level, that percentage is not minted
